Our Journey So Far
January 2023
THE BEGINNING
Piano Guard System was born in January 2023 — with the beginning of a new year, a clear vision, and a deep respect for the instrument. Created by piano lovers for piano lovers, the idea emerged from a simple purpose: to help pianos remain in stable, healthy conditions and preserve the qualities that make each instrument unique. After more than a decade spent managing a piano restoration company, working daily alongside restorers, technicians, and musicians, I witnessed how strongly environmental instability affects the life, performance, and longevity of a piano. Over the years, what began as professional involvement became genuine passion.Piano Guard System was created to offer instruments the protection they truly deserve—reducing instability, limiting the impact of seasonal changes, and helping preserve the piano's tone, structure, and character for years to come.
2024
GROWING THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Already in 2024, the first Piano Guard systems found their way to our early testers—people to whom we remain deeply grateful. They devoted their time, trust, and investment to support an innovative idea at the very beginning of its journey. Receiving the first detailed feedback, thoughtful messages, and passionate observations was one of the most inspiring moments in the development of Piano Guard System. Every opinion matters to us. With each new production, we continue refining the system by implementing the ideas and experiences shared by our users—always striving to create the most reliable and refined protection possible for the instrument we all care about deeply.
2025
BUILDING TRUST THROUGH EXPERIENCE
As Piano Guard System continued to grow, we had the opportunity to present the idea at piano conventions, technical meetings, and industry events across Europe and beyond—including the Piano Congress in Poland, conventions in the Netherlands and Belgium, and Nordic piano meetings. Along the way, we met countless passionate piano professionals whose questions, feedback, and curiosity continue to shape the development of the system. We understand that introducing new technology into valuable instruments requires trust. That is why we continuously refine Piano Guard System with every generation, every installation, and every conversation. The year 2026 is dedicated not only to the continued development of Piano Guard but also to increasing awareness of the crucial role environmental stability plays in the preservation of pianos. Through industry conventions, workshops, and professional gatherings, we aim to share knowledge about the effects of humidity and dryness on piano structure, performance, and longevity. Our mission is simple: to help the piano community better understand how proper climate conditions can protect exceptional instruments for generations to come.
