WHAT IS PIANO GUARD?

Because Stability Matters

Humidity is one of the leading causes of piano instability and long-term damage. Piano Guard System is an innovative device which continuously monitors and regulates the instrument's environment, helping preserve its performance, condition, and value for years to come.

HOW DOES PIANO GUARD WORK?

Sense. Respond. Protect.

The Piano Guard System continuously monitors the environment inside the instrument. It automatically humidifies when humidity is below 45% and dehumidifies when it's above 55%, maintaining stable conditions essential for piano performance and longevity. Intelligent hysteresis control prevents unnecessary activation, ensuring efficient operation and a balanced climate within the instrument.

WHY CHOOSE PIANO GUARD?

Ensure Ideal Conditions

Exceptional pianos deserve exceptional conditions. The Piano Guard System protects the instrument's stability, longevity, and performance through intelligent climate control, discreet operation, and real-time monitoring—providing peace of mind for owners and valuable insight for piano professionals alike.

Humidity Range

45%-55%

Maintaining humidity within this range helps preserve the piano’s tuning stability, tone, and structural integrity. Stable conditions protect the instrument from cracks, warping, and damage caused by environmental fluctuations. Using intelligent hysteresis control, the system avoids unnecessary activation caused by minor environmental fluctuations. This ensures smooth operation, greater efficiency, and a consistently balanced climate within the instrument.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS

A collection of precision-engineered components works silently behind the instrument—maintaining the conditions that exceptional pianos require to perform at their highest level.

WEB & MOBILE APP

The Piano Guard application brings the instrument’s environment directly to your phone—offering live humidity data, service notifications, and continuous insight into the conditions that shape the piano’s performance.

Why environment matters

A piano is not static — it responds constantly to the climate around it.
Without stability, the instrument gradually loses the balance, precision, and character it was designed to preserve.

Over time, environmental fluctuations can compromise tuning, tone, responsiveness, and the structure itself.

Aggressive climate change can drastically alter piano tone and touch. Areas that are prone to this damage include places with rainy seasonal changes, or homes that are often left open to the environment.

When Humidity Falls

Humidity that dips below 45% can lower the pitch of the piano, cause separation of wood and cloth parts, and cause cracks in the soundboard and finish. Areas prone to this damage include those with cold winters or high altitudes. Excessively dry air causes the piano’s wooden structure to contract and lose stability. Over time, this can result in cracks, tonal imbalance, tuning instability, and irreversible structural damage.

When Humidity Rises

Humidity above 65% can raise the piano's pitch, cause swelling of the wood and cloth parts, accelerate metal corrosion, and even damage the piano's finish. Over time, excessive moisture can permanently alter the instrument's character and structure. Areas that are prone to this damage include places near oceans, lakes, swamps, and forests.

Every Piano Deserves Stability

Protect the Piano. Preserve the Music.

A piano may last for generations, but only when the environment around it allows it to. Piano Guard System was created to protect the instrument's tone, touch, structure, and longevity—quietly, intelligently, and every day.
